Antone using an electric razor buy this – I bought a Panasonic tech 4 razor and used it with Williams electric shave. Got a good shave but it’s so big, I couldn’t get to curves on my face. I returned it and resorted to my cheapy 10yo Norelco 3 rotary saver. I used Williams electric shave and got the best shave of my life. If your using an electric shaver, try this stuff, absolutely amazing. Not looking. for a new shaver now. Great stuff!!

Try It With Water – Lectric Shave works really well with a wet shaver. I use it with my Panasonic ES-LV5U and Norelco S9000 Prestige this way. I prepare my face using a face wipe that is used for removing womens’ makeup. Then I squirt some on a cotton round and apply it to my face. I apply water to my electric shaver and shave as usual. It produces a much closer and more comfortable shave this way and the water helps remove some of the surfectant so that you don’t have to wash your face after a shave (that is, if you don’t like the smell). The water makes the Lectric Shave slicker than it is when used on a dry face. An analogy would be driving on L.A. roads after the first rain of the season. The water makes the oil on the pavement slicker. Same thing with a wet shaver and Lectric Shave.

Great Lubrication for an Electric Razor – Let’s start with the scent. The main ingredient is alcohol; it does a great job smoothing your face and making all the little hairs stand up, but it smells like disinfectant. that being said, the scent is irrelevant to me, I shave before I shower, so this gets washed off. You want to splash this on your face before shaving, but do not get it in your eyes or mouth, it is quite nasty.

My electric shaver is more efficient when using this pre shave. – I had not used a pre shave in decades but decided to buy the Williams product which I had used many years ago. It made a measurable difference in shave efficiency and comfort in this daily task. Highly recommended.

review and a bottle suggestion – I’ve been using this for a couple days now . The scent doesn’t seem to be long lasting which probably you wouldn’t want since its a splash anyway. Definitely a good value for your money hands-down.

1st time Electric Razor Owner&Super Impressed – When I first purchased this item,it was to go with my brand new Panasonic model ES- LA63 Wet/Dry electric razor. My first time using the electric razor, I did not use tje solution…but after using the electric razor for the first time, I was not too happy with how “close” the shave was. The electric razor that I purchased worked great as I have very sensitive skin. My 2nd time using the Elecrtric razor, I tried this solution , and although I was not using it in the shower (which seems to be the best method of getting the closest sgave in opening the pores), & then the added benefit,&proven fact that this solution makes all ones facial hair stand on end, and be easily removed/cut aeay. In a sense, this solution would be an (in between) method of using the Panasonic in the wet, or dry mode. As soon as I had made my first pass(not even in the shower, but over the sink) on my neck with this solution, I noticed in instant and huge change in the overall comfort, as well as closeness of the shave. Considering the sensitivity of my skin, I was actually shocked that in using my Panasonic EI – LA63 model actually did not require a breaking in period(where skin may be irritated, or left with visible patches of razor bumps, for the first 30 days or so), as many people stated they always needed with an electric razor. I was very happy that even in shaving dry, I was not dealing with any irritation at all in my skin….but also worried that I had just purchased a razor that did not make as close of a shave as a standard multi blade razor, where one has to keep replacing those darn expensive cartridges& using tons of gel to prevent horrible cuts&irritation.

Basically it works by letting the electric shaver glide over the skin resulting in a much closer and smoother shave with fewer cuts. I am guessing that the alcohol helps with evaporating the small amounts of sweat which otherwise make the skin sticky and the razor skip and jump, resulting in patchy and rough shave. But there is also some other lubricant which needs to be washed off after shaving.
