Rinse really well – Careful not to use to much and to rinse out very well. I have ended up with a purple scalp and purple tinted highlights when rushed!

I’ve been searching for a new purple shampoo and conditioner set to use ever since Amika was bought out and changed their formula and started turning my hair purple. Matrix was meh. Color was just ok, but my hair wasn’t soft and manageable like it is with Redken. I bought both the shampoo and conditioner to use together and I’m super happy with it. I left the shampoo on for about 3-4 min and condition for about 6-8 minutes. I’m super stoked about the color, but even more thrilled with the feel and manageability of my hair now. I get my roots died every 1.5 months, as I’m a natural dark brown. I also blow dry and straiten every day, so it’s very hard to maintain the health and vibrancy of it. Paired with the Redken heat protectant and Redkin 12 hairspray, I couldn’t be happier.
