Great for thick heair – I have extremely thick/curly hair and while I still can’t fit all my hair into every one of them, there are a few that I actually can with a bit of finessing. They’re supper strong holding and so chic. If you have moderately thick hair and are concerned they won’t work, they WILL! I still recommend for extremely thick hair but just keep in mind you may not fit allll your hair in one clip. You won’t regret buying these and to top it off they are so on trend.

Work great. Excellent quality – Pretty heavy and have a lot of tension on them. Sometimes I have to put my hair up with an elastic and then use a claw clip to hold up the rest of my hair. With these clips I don’t need the elastic. It holds up all my hair securely and I love the look of them. Very happy with this purchase. It came with so many I shared a few with my friends.

BEST HAIR CLIPS EVER!!! – I have long, thick hair. As one with very thick hair and LOTS of it, I don’t think there’s a hair clip I haven’t tried over the years! Needless to say, I didn’t have high hopes as a result of repeated failures with other clips. Well, I was not only surprised but ABSOLUTELY ELATED with these clips! First, they’re entirely metal which is why I think these clips work so incredibly well. Second, each clip is a different design, with the braided pattern being my absolute FAVE! Not only is each clip really pretty when you look straight on at the clip when it’s in your hair, but what sets these clips apart from others is that the side views are just as lovely (if not more to be honest). My colleague with hair even thicker than mine always wears her hair up in a clip. It was when she slightly turned her head that I saw the side view of the braided clip. Because her hair is so thick, I immediately complimented her on such a pretty clip and then asked if it held up her hair for several hours. She promptly started singing the clip’s praises just as I’m doing in this product review now! Third, I aggressively shook my head after putting it in my hair for the first time just to get an idea of how well it held up in my own hair, and I’m not exaggerating in the slightest when I say that the grip didn’t lessen by even the slightest of margins! Curly, long, extremely thick hair review – I purchased these clips after breaking all of the plastic ones I have. I have waist length, curly, thick, very dense hair and it’s hard to find claw clips that are up to the job. These are cute, sturdy, and WONDERFUL for thick hair.

Almost too sturdy – I have been looking for a way to step up my clamp hair fashions. While these do the job they are EXTREMELY tight to clasp and almost uncomfortable at times. They are also heavier than plastic ones so sometimes pull down my bun and I have thick hair. If I had thin hair I think the weight would basically pull the clamps right down and off my head.
