Easy way to stop bleeding from cuts and scrapes – When I went on blood thinners a year ago, I struggled to stop the bleeding in minor cuts and scrapes. I’d use pressure and tissues and think it had stopped only to have to start over. I’d forgotten about the styptic pencils I’d used for years for shaving nicks.

Fast bleeding stopper, for nicks or cuts. – Have used such pencils for all my shaving life (about 60 years of it), and they’re a necessity for anyone using blade shavers. Even with superb and safe modern blades (Gillette Sensor XL, etc.) you will still get the occasional nick. I use them for task-related scrapes and cuts, too.

Great whether beginner shaver or not, and for any small cuts – When I started shaving as a teenager, my father made sure he had one of these things for me. And, as would be expected, I needed it and greatly appreciated it when I had it. As such, I picked these up for my son who is about to start shaving. Certainly worth having on hand for shaving or quickly sealing up small cuts

Perfect to keep in kitchen or bathroom. – I love these sticks, I clip my cuticles often and sometimes nick myself in the process. These help stop the bleeding immediately. I have also used these for small cuts from shaving, or accidental cuts from chopping veggies in the kitchen. They work.

Good for anything that bleeds. – From shaving nicks to little cuts, if it doesn’t require a bandage, reach for one of these sticks. Just ask your grandfather or even his grandfather, they’ve been around that long– but still just as hard to find as ever.

Hope you don’t need it – But if you do butcher your face while shaving, these styptic pencils stop the bleeding fast. Guess that’s what it’s for. Now they need a product that helps the skin heal faster so you don’t walk around with a scrape all day.
