Does fine as a cleaner – It does well as a cleaner. I can’t really speak on how well it disinfects as I don’t have a particular way to check it. It’s got a really strong smell is the only dislike. Simple to use. I haven’t used it to cool the clippers so I can’t speak on that yet.

Great stuff – I shave my head and use my clippers a lot. This stuff is great for cleaning them afterwards. After using this to get them clean I spray some light oil and they’re good to go. Beware this stuff sets off heavy gas alarms. My RV has a carbon monoxide/ propane alarm and this stuff sets it off quick. Just so you know.

That opener is tight – So overall the product met my expectations. However, it’s kind of embarrassing but I had trouble with opening the spray can/bottle that I thrust it too hard to open, it flew into the air and landed right into a toilet nearby. It made me feel like the top needed more sanitizing than the andis trimmer I use the spray on. My point is, the top shouldn’t be too tight to open.

This is not the proverbial “one-trick “! – Since I invested almost a C-note & a half on a quality shaver, that meant I had to find something to keep it as sharp as a tack. another reason this was needed was that I didn’t have enough space to run the Smart Care Center in the small bathroom where I live & the former was defective, leaking the solution everywhere risking a fire! so I started going for the conventional lubricant & sharpeners but they were either not in stock, too expensive for the amount, unable to ship to my alternative address, or more importantly, cause me to put too much of the product in a relatively small area. so, it was pure serendipity that I read a review that stated that The Andis Cool Care can indeed be used with the same symbiotic benefit for both the human face & shaver & last a lot longer in both categories.

Works immediately! – Had a pair of clippers that started to snag while cutting. I sprayed the clippers down and cleaned them with a clipper brush. Proceeded to cut hair and IMMEDIATELY there was a difference in the cut. The glide through the hair was smooth and no snags. Once I was finished, sprayed again as directed. Definitely on my list to stock up on so that I don’t run out!
